Sabor Latino Cafe & Pupuseria: Reviews & Ratings
Fantastic small family stop. Tried the Pupusas and they were amazing. Great luck to find and enjoyed the atmosphere, food, and talking to owner. Recommend and would definitely stop by again when traveling in area.
Absolutely incredible—everything from the food to the service exceeded expectations. It's such a treat to have authentic Salvadoran cuisine right here in Parowan. The pupusas are a must-try—seriously, don't miss out
So good! The service from walking through the door was extremely cozy. The service was extremely helpful and he told us some background about the food. The food itself was delicious!! Perfect place to stop by during a road trip!!
This place exceeded my expectations. We were staying in Brian Head just up the mountain and wanted somewhere to eat. We found this place because there was an awesome antique store next to it. While we were shopping I asked the lady if there was a good place to eat and she referred me here. We ended up getting a special that wasnt on the menu but it did not disappoint. Its great to find these small business owners and support them. Forget the chain restaurants and you'll get some good food from a place like this! The owner was really polite and the place was clean. I can't think of anything negative to say. You guys wont regret stopping in and supporting Romero and his wife, Yanice. I was so happy to meet them I offered to pray with them, over their business and we held hands and talked with Jesus. Not too many people are open to that. Anyway, if you are unsure if you should give them a try this is your sign to stop in and eat. The prices are not too expensive either. Check out the photos! I didnt take a picture of their breakfast menu but that is offered as well. Safe travels to all.
Brian Head Resort is awesome for skiing and the views but the food is honestly awful. We decided to drive down to check out the food in the nearest city and came across this place. I can’t recommend it enough. The service was great and the pupusas were phenomenal. Worth the trip down the mountain!!! Loved the plantains too.
omg. I haven't had pupusas in years and I was so excited when this place opened. I was not disappointed! the revueltas were made to order and beyond delicious, and their savory bite was perfectly complimented by slightly sweet salsa roja. Service was excellent as well. I can't wait to return and try more. I love that food is fresh and breakfast is available all day.
Very nice very ethnic owner, the pupusas were super tasty and seemed fairly priced; the side was an interesting yellow slaw with cauliflower in the mix, kinda good and nicely crunchy. The steak burrito had good flavor and was pretty big, but the meal maybe wasn't $15 worth, since the fries are a pretty basic fare, and the kid's meals were three nuggets and the same fries and didn't seem to tempt our kids (but we suspect they had too many snacks before dinner). The nuggets were a nice crispy outside and expected inside. I really enjoyed those pupusas and they had a pretty good glass bottle drinks selection, but I'm not sure I'd go back for anything other than those. The place was really clean but a touch noisy when ordering so it was a little hard to understand what flavors and combos and all the options were.
Finally, amazing authentic popusas have arrived in Southern Utah. The location is a nice modern establishment, with a nice cast iron fireplace that really added to the atmosphere on a snowy day. The popusas were as authentic as they get, every bite being filled with the perfect amount of melty cheese. The beans were savory and flavorful, the jalapenos were nice and spicy, and added flavor to every cheesy bite. Their curtido was very unique, it was yellow, and included cauliflower, which I had never seen before, but was the perfect addition along with the salsa in making the excellent popusas taste even better. You can really tell the employees put effort into using high quality, fresh and flavorful ingredients.
